Topsite websites are good if you have people willing to vote for your site everyday. If you don't have people willing to do that your site isn't going to be seen as much as those who have people voting for there site everyday. Before you go crazy using topsite websites, decide if people will vote for your site. If not, my advice is to not spend the time.
